"Correct the structure, correct the meridians, correct your health."

Acupuncture Acupuncture is well known to alleviate pain. Hair-thin needles are used in specific locations on the body depending on the diagnosis of your tongue, pulse, and medical diagnosis. The acupuncturist will observe the shape, color, wetness, coat of your tongue, and the feel of your pulse. These determine other factors that may be contributing to your pain. If indicated, other modalities may be used such as cupping, moxibustion, guasha, and patent herbs.
Kyojung Kyojung is an East Asian body work technique used by your acupuncturist to correct the structure of your skeletal alignment. Many patients' bodies form easements over time, and unknowingly force them out of proper alignment. Easements can occur from poor agronomical work stations, inherently poor posture, injuries, etc. When your structure is improperly aligned your muscles, tendons, and ligaments work hard, not smart, and in effect burn more calories per day to support your skeleton. As a result you feel pain and low energy. Kyojung is a method based on physics. The acupuncturist uses, high, low, or no counterbalancing forces. In instances of high or low force maneuvers, a manual, cooperative effort between acupuncturist and patient will occur. Other times propping methods will be applied, such that the prop and weight of the patient achieve the counterbalancing force.
